Medical and Tourism as a combined activity has been a driving force for economic growth in many developing countries (Bookman and Bookman 2007). From global and national economic growth perspectives, such activities can significantly contribute to national output, generate employment opportunities (both to home and host countries), improve medical and tourism facilities of host countries, increase in foreign exchange earnings and infrastructure developments (Hopkins et al. 2010; Gan & Frederick 2011). This indicates that the economic benefits of such activity can have an implication on both exporting and importing countries in relations to policy, healthcare systems developments, and technological advancement (Smith et al. 2011).
